Top seven couples of online wedding competition to be revealed

The www.lovemedo.com.my, a creative online public-voting wedding contest, will announce its top seven couples today.

The contest conceptualised by Berjaya Hotels & Resorts Marketing Communications director Thang Han-Ni, together with her team, offered the seven couples the opportunity to win a designer beach wedding at Berjaya Langkawi Beach & Spa Resort for free through the region’s first online wedding contest.

The beginning: The launch of the ‘Love Me do contest’ was held at the romantic Colmar Tropicale.

“After nearly three months, power is now given to the public to vote for their favourite couple among the 31 online video submissions.

The contest is getting more intense as the current 31 contestants will soon be shortlisted to only seven couples today. Meanwhile, the members of the public are still able to view the video submissions of the 31 couples and vote for their favourites,” Thang said.

For the top seven, exciting activities await.

First would be a wedding gown-fitting session sponsored by That Special Occasion happening on Jan 22.

Next would be an actual wedding photography session by renowned wedding photo-journalist Edmund Tham, scheduled on Feb 5 and 6.

Donning their pre-selected wedding attire four couples would be whisked away to Berjaya Hills for a highland-castle wedding theme photography, while three couples will be photographed chic and cosmopolitan-style at Berjaya Times Square Hotel & Convention Centre.

“We work with our dedicated partners for special events so that the couples will be able to blog on their experiences at www.lovemedo.com.my,” said Thang.

As to determine the top three, public voting will commence on Jan 22.

“More details about the excitement surrounding the Top 3 couples will be revealed as the contestants go one step closer to making their wedding dream come true,” Thang said.
